System: Payvand

[3059] Stationed on Payvand since 3016, the Stewart Dragoon's Juggernaught Regiment has a fearsome reputation. Formerly adept at assault operations, Juggernaught have shifted their tactics during their long sojourn on the Periphery border. The unit now specializes in shock raids, attacking with company-sized units and using speed and firepower to overwhelm opponents. Against Periphery pirates the tactic has proved devastating; however, save for occasional raids against the magistracy of Canopus, Juggernaught has not faced a regular military unit since being deployed to Payvand.

[3067] Juggernaught continues to live up to its name, and protects a broad swathe of worlds stretching from the Sixth Oriente Hussars' base on Eleusis to that of the Orloff Grenadiers on Lesnovo.

Pirate attacks have increased markedly of late, Juggernaught having destroyed over two full company's of raiders in the past few months. Rumor has it these attacks may not be all they seem, but despite its suspicions, the Free Worlds League has yet to pin blame on any of the nearby realms.
